grant turns "1"

It seems like yesterday we anxiously awaited the cry of our little boy. The bags were packed, and packed full of blue, because yes we knew God had a special boy to bless our lives with. He instantly filled our lives with so much love, cuddles, smiles, and coos. He is so sweet, laid back, and just lately starting to show he is all boy, CURIOUS and well has a slight TEMPER.

Now all grown up to a big one years old. Trucks, balls, tractors, dirt, and trouble is what being one and boy is all about.....right? As you can see we have a little bit to work on. He was a little scared about his John Deere tractor present. After daddy pushed him around on it he took a liking to it! Gotta keep this boy tough you know, he has 2 big sisters to look after in the future!

My little boy turning one :( Why does this pull at my heart strings? Maybe because he looks two and not one. Oh, I do love babies, especially this special little guy. He will forever hold a dear spot in my heart. Even when he is eighteen, 6' 3", towering over his mama, with a girl on his arm....oh, she better watch it, he was mine FIRST!

Grant didn't have a typical birthday cake. Poor boy was stuck with a Post Family Farm donut for one party and dirt cake in a dump truck for the other.....too cute and he didn't mind. He devoured and LOVED the donut......thinking about making that a tradition. Maybe he could do commercials for Post Farm? Start his college fund, oh thats right, he will be getting full ride with his football skills. Can you tell this mom thinks an awful lot about this little guy. :)

HApPy bIrTHDaY to you, Buddy! Lots of love from your mama :)
